before all of this, there was a love for hosting anyone and everyone for anything and everything.

i found a unique alcove of joy in creating a beautiful place for people to gather that i didn’t find anywhere else. i built welcome signs, designed invitations, and crafted floral arrangements for the tiniest of get-togethers… and quickly found excuses to do it again and again.

friends asked me to decorate for their own small apartment gatherings, birthdays, book clubs, or taylor swift watch parties. and as we grew, the occasions did too. i was hauling flowers to graduation parties, secret proposals, bridal showers, weddings, and anything else i could add an installation to.

i suddenly outgrew my 500 square foot apartment with overfilled cabinets of vintage candlesticks, funky vases, and obscure decorations that i swore to my husband i had such a big vision for

and here we are, getting to see poppies be loved and cherished by those that trust me with their vision.

and i cannot wait for another reason to celebrate
